VIKON-PRO Module

This module allows I/O management on any type of machine and/or equipment via a simple RS485 serial connection with ModBus protocol.

 Main features:

The VIKON-PRO module can replace parts of the plant governed by I/O managed by a PLC. Normally, I/O interface modules connected to PLCs do not have "mixed" I/Os that include temperature acquisition, so several modules must be used to manage the various types of signals required for automation instead of a single VIKON-PRO module.
Using the VIKON-PRO module in conjunction with an operator terminal can complete the automation of an industrial plant.

If the complexity of the plant so requires, several VIKON-PRO modules can be connected on the same serial bus.

The VIKON-PRO module is housed in a quick-connect plastic housing on a DIN-35 rail. All signals to be controlled can be connected via movable connectors.

The module requires a nominal supply voltage of 24 Vdc and has the following resources:

• N. 8 digital input type P (24V)

• N. 8 digital output type P (24V)

• N. 4 analog input 4÷20 mA

• N. 4 analog output 4÷20 mA

• N. 4 thermocouple input for type K-R-S (temperature resolution 0,1°C).

• N. 4 analog output 0÷5 V or 0÷10 V
  

• N. 1 bidirectional encoder input

• N. 1 RS485 serial (ModBus)
